It wasn't to be for our Melville - 4s, who went under to Gosnells - 4s on home soil.
Our innings: 196. Gosnells - 4s': 9/206. Jack Lynn top-scored with 46 off 125 balls. Dominic Biggin made 37 off 78 balls. Vidu Fernando did the damage for the visitors with three for 25.
Daniel Newman returned figures of three for 46 off fourteen overs. There were also wickets for Alex Yonge (two for 41). Matthew Robson held our opponents' innings together with 48.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
