Despite some good moments, our Melville - A fell to Perth - A in one to put behind us.
Batting first, we were all out for 94 in 32.3 overs. Rebecca McGrath top-scored, making 24 off 35 balls. Talitha Stanley returned three for 15 for Perth - A.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 3/98 in 17 overs. Sam Pope remained unbeaten on 35 for the hosts. Olivia McSweeney helped our opponents with 30. Elsie Simpson led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 13.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Credit to the hosts, and well played.
