It was a disappointing outing for our Melville - A, who came up short against South Perth - A in 5. Senior Female action.
Batting first, we posted 7/75 from 20 overs. Georgie Middleton played a fine hand of 23 off 30 balls.
South Perth - A reached the target at 0/76 in 8.5 overs. For the hosts, Abi Glen was unbeaten on 38. Rebecca West remained unbeaten on 33 for our opponents.
Credit to the hosts, who played well. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
