Despite a solid effort, our Melville - A fell to South Perth - A on a day to learn from.
South Perth - A set us 152 to win, finishing on 3/151 from 20 overs. Credit to Abigail Freeborn, who made a half-century (73) for the visitors.
Our chase ended at 7/110 from 20 overs. Jessica Shepherd brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 68 off 55 balls.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
