It was a tough day out for our Melville - A, who fell to Subiaco-Floreat - A by 77 runs at Floreat Park.
Subiaco-Floreat - A batted first and put 4/205 on the board from 20 overs. Mikayla Hinkley made a classy 104 not out for the hosts, a century worth applauding.
Needing 206 to win, we finished on 7/128 from 20 overs. Rebecca McGrath made a great 56 off 55 balls, a well-made fifty. Amy Edgar also got among the runs with 20 off 17 balls.
There were some good individual efforts to build on. On to the next one.
