There was no joy for our Melville - B, who fell short against South Perth - B on a day to learn from.
South Perth - B batted first and made 4/146 from 20 overs. SERI CHANG remained unbeaten on 41 for our opponents.
Chasing 147, we reached 7/92 from 20 overs. Georgia Blackbeard was the pick of our batters with 23 off 29 balls. Credit to Eliza O'Connor, who took three for 10 for the visitors.
The side will be keen to bounce back.
