It wasn't to be for our Melville - B, who came up short against Wanneroo - B on a frustrating day.
The side batted first and reached 7/137 from 40 overs. Natasha Wylie's 36 off 55 balls was the highlight with the bat. Indy-Mae Bartlett chipped in with 28.
Wanneroo - B knocked off the runs, finishing on 10/191 in 36.5 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Tené Crafford, who made 99. Wylie picked up two for 26 off six overs. Isabella Morrison offered good support with two for 40.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Credit to the hosts, and well played.
