It was a Sunday to remember for our Melville (Colts), who defeated Gosnells (Colts) with a performance to be proud of.
Batting first, Gosnells (Colts) posted 51 from 16.5 overs. Shoma Slater was the pick of our bowlers with four for 11. Callum Herbert backed up well, taking two for 8. Cameron Rusling sent down two maidens, no mean feat in a T20.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 2/55 in 8.3 overs. Joshua Kelly played a polished hand of 26 off 26 balls. There were also handy runs from Simon Budge (24).
Well played, all.
