Despite a solid effort, our Melville - B were unable to get the better of Wanneroo - B.
Batting first, we posted 4/85 from 20 overs. Leading the way was Indy-Mae Bartlett with 26 off 34 balls. For Wanneroo - B, Jemma Hooper took three for 12 off four overs.
The hosts reached the target at 6/86 in 10.2 overs. Polly Phillips made 37 for our opponents. Isabelle Portier starred with the ball, taking two for 16. There were also wickets for Kyra Mansfield (two for 24).
Plenty to take out of this one.
We're fourth on the ladder at the moment. We'll go again.
