It was a tough day out for our Melville - A, who were second best against Perth - A in a disappointing result.
The final scores were Melville - A 9/77, Perth - A 4/280. Fifty for Aimee Diab, who made 58 for our opponents. Olivia McSweeney passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 56.
Charlotte Toohey's 27 off 55 balls was the highlight with the bat. Solid support came from Jessica Shepherd, who made 21. Credit to Lily Chapman, who took three for 8 for our opponents.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it. We'll go again.
