Good news from our Melville Men's Premier T20's, who recorded a win over Mount Lawley on Sunday at Tompkins 1.
We batted first and finished with 7/149 on the board from 20 overs. Fifty for Lachlan Farrow, who finished with 53 off 41 balls. Tarun Jessani did the damage for Mount Lawley with three for 30.
In reply, the visitors finished on 100 from 15.2 overs. Jake Egan held our opponents' innings together with 37. Declan Power starred with the ball, taking three for 27. Darin Jayaprakassh sent down a maiden, no mean feat in a T20.
Well done to everyone involved.
