It was a day to regroup for our Melville Men's Premier T20's, who went down to Perth on Sunday.
The final scores were Melville Men's Premier T20's 10/106, Perth 7/142. Joel Curtis made a stylish 59 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Our best with the ball was Ewan Neilson, who took two for 29.
Simon Budge played a good hand of 26 off 26 balls. Joseph Kelly added a useful 22 off 24 balls. Waheguru Dhillon bowled well for our opponents, taking three for 20.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
