It wasn't to be for our Melville - 3s, who were unable to get the better of Wanneroo - 3s in 1. Senior Male.
Wanneroo - 3s made 3/151, and we made 10/122 and 1/38. Callum Herbert led the way with 33 off 87 balls with two fours. Cameron Rusling made 22 off 64 balls. The visitors' Jayden Rotham was the standout with the ball, taking five for 41. Cody Billington backed up with three for 38 for our opponents.
Bradley Marlborough passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 53. For our opponents, Kaleb White was unbeaten on 44.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
We'll go again.
