With the bat, we made 188; South Perth - 2s made 6/189. Fifty for Kiale O’Brien, who finished with 63 off 118 balls. Tom Wallwork played a handy knock of 26. Credit to Andrew Flint, who took four for 41 for our opponents. Wyatt Wilson chipped in with three for 38 for the hosts.
Lewis Martin was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 40 off eighteen overs. Flint passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 67 not out. Lucas Angel added a handy 38 for the hosts.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. Well played to our opponents.
