It was a tough day out for our Melville (PT20), who were second best against Gosnells (PT20) in 2. Senior Male (T20's) action.
We batted first and finished with 8/114 on the board from 20 overs. Joshua Kelly played a fine hand of 47 off 50 balls. Oliver Kelly added a useful 25 off 24 balls. Cameron Sawatzky was the pick of Gosnells (PT20)'s bowlers with three for 13.
The hosts reached the target at 4/115 in 19.1 overs. Savar Deeplaul passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 56 not out. Ewan Neilson picked up two for 22 off four overs. Declan Power even managed a maiden in the T20 format.
There were some good individual efforts to build on.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
