There was plenty to celebrate as our Melville - 4s got the win against University - 4s at UWA Sports Park West on Saturday.
Melville - 4s 6/267, University - 4s 9/73 was the final tally. Andrew Blake remained unbeaten on 41 for our opponents. Daniel Newman picked up three for 19 off six overs.
Kade Grey passed fifty on the way to 81 off 109 balls with seven fours. Jack Whitelaw made a brilliant 80 off 106 balls, a well-made fifty. Credit to Nicholas Bell, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 62) for the hosts.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. It's ten wins on the bounce. A day to enjoy for everyone at Melville Premier.
