It was a day to forget for our Melville - 1s, who were undone by Subiaco-Floreat - 1s on a tough day.
We batted first and put 158 on the board from 47.2 overs. Joshua Fontana led the way with 32 off 45 balls with five fours. Solid support came from Darin Jayaprakassh, who made 28.
Subiaco-Floreat - 1s reached the target at 2/164 in 31.2 overs. A century to Bailey Gregson for our opponents: 100 not out.
The visitors were simply too good on the day. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Well played to our opponents.
