It was one to learn from for our Melville Men's Colts League, who were beaten by Mount Lawley in a disappointing result.
Our innings closed at 8/132 from 20 overs. Declan Power made a superb 53 off 40 balls, a well-made fifty. Coby Perry bowled well for Mount Lawley, taking four for 19.
The visitors knocked off the runs, finishing on 6/134 in 19.4 overs. Tyrone Virgo made a polished 57 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. The wickets were shared around, with Jaxon Pantall taking three for 19.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
