Our Melville - 3s came unstuck as they were undone by Claremont-Nedlands - 3s on a day to learn from.
Our innings: 147. Claremont-Nedlands - 3s': 10/250. The top score came from Devon Oelofse, who made 42 off 101 balls. Hamish Wardell-Johnson also got among the runs with 37 off 36 balls.
Vidyuth Kadiresan starred with the ball, taking four for 72. Taylor Hannah passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 76. Credit to William Nicholls, who made a half-century (57) for the hosts.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
We'll go again.
