It was a day to forget for our Melville - 3s, who went under to Claremont-Nedlands - 3s at Melvista Oval in 1. Senior Male.
We batted first and finished with 5/146 on the board from 45 overs. Kiale O’Brien posted a half-century, making 58 off 93 balls. Flynn Lewis finished 34 not out off 61 balls.
Claremont-Nedlands - 3s reached the target at 2/149 in 30.1 overs. Nicholas Wright passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 55 not out. Taylor Hannah made 44 for the hosts.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. The side will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses. The team will be keen to bounce back.
